Effective communication is a trait
of a successful leader. Blogs are a
great resource to communicate with other administrators, teachers, parents and
students. It is a way to show the
process of inquiry in a documented form.
Blogs can be used as an online discussion. If our “shareholders” can see the process of
change and more importantly, the thought process and inquiry behind the change,
they can have a greater input and sense of ownership in our schools. Administrators can make open blogs to gain
insight from parents and community members or can create closed blogs to
collaborate ideas with other administrators or their leadership teams. There are many ways that blogs can help gain
insight and increase collaboration during the action research process.
